The new national standards for art have changed within the past few months, and here is what I have concluded:
In the state of CT, the standards have not changed much...there may be a few extra fancy words, however, I think the Arts were way ahead of the curve! As they say... "There is nothing common about my core!"

Artist Study - Amedeo Modigliani
So, I have just started to look over my old art history books, and rediscovered the work of Amedeo Modigliani. I forgot how much I loved his slightly strange elongated figures with somewhat blank eyes. I have selected three of my favorite works by him:
